December 10th felt like Christmas for me. What an amazing and busy day! The true meaning of Christmas came alive, giving unconditionally and believing in something or someone that you may have never met.
There were times I was excited like a child. Then there were times I was overwhelmed by the idea of the generosity of others. Yesterday was about the true kindness of people. From donations to retweets, there was no way of getting through Twitter yesterday without seeing something about #10for10. Over 80 donations were made, totaling $1635. Yesterday was a very good day.
The difference that was made yesterday will forever change the lives of these ten beautiful and amazing girls that will forever be a part of my life and I hope yours as well! Every single donation that has been made, no matter what the amount, will help them grow into confident, loved and educated young women.
You have made a difference.
You have changed the course of their lives.
