Inspiration is the spark that leads to change. Our goal is to create a home for orphans, not an orphanage. Each home will support an environment where children are loved and inspired and enabled to live out their dreams for a better future.
Inspire The Child will also provide supplemental enrichment programs to support the girls social and educational needs. This will include a library space equipped with books, computer with internet access and foreign language tutorials. This facility will prepare the girls for a brighter future and support their re-introduction to society. The home will also provide counseling and medical attention, and teach them the skills that will empower them to be a strong and independent new generation of women.
Inspire the Child – Kenya: MFFO partnered with a local Kenyan NGO, Sisters Arise Project in May of 2010, to create a new beginning the children at Saint Monica’s Home for Girls. Saint Monica’s is a home for orphaned girls ages 8-18. There are 36 girls currently residing at the home. You can see all our girls residing at Saint Monica’s.
