A few weeks ago I won some extra tickets to The Inman Connect Conference in San Francisco and decided to do an auction to benefit MFFO. What’s awesome about fundraising is how quickly people come together to help for a good cause. It wasn’t so much about the amount of money we could raise (although it would have been nice to have raised a couple of thousand $$$’s) – it was more about great minds brainstorming and spreading the word to ultimately help people in need.
Just take a look at what went on on Twitter alone – Between the RT’s (Retweets), questions, encouragement…..and awareness of MothersFightingForOthers ….. OVERWHELMING and HEARTWARMING if you ask me. (The conversation thread starts from the bottom with the latest tweet at the top).
So needless to say – Thanks to everyone that tweeted and retweeted and helped spread the word, as well as those that submitted bids. We raised $306 in a short couple of days and the winner of the Inman Real Estate Connect Registration Passes is Shar Rundio from Mesa, Arizona.
