Gift of Education Fundraiser 2011 - Darnestown, MD - Nov 2010
Once again, Audrey and Mike Forshey opened their home to Mothers Fighting For Others to raise school fees for the girls at Saint Monica’s. Over $32,000 was raised! All of our girls will be able to go to school this year! Thank you Audrey, Mike and all your amazing friends who supported us!
Fly Away Wrap Party - Hollywood CA – August 3, 2010
This was our very first Private Event. We were so very excited and grateful to the cast and crew of the upcoming film “Fly Away.” We raised almost $1000 for the renovations at Saint Monica’s.
The 1st Annual MFFO Calendar Ball – New Jersey – May 22, 2010 POSTPONED
Even though the event was postponed, over $7,000 was collected for running costs of the home. Mothers Fighting For Others will be hosting it’s first Gala Event at the Hamilton Manor in New Jersey on May 22, 2010. Proceeds will go to creation of the first Inspire the Child orphanage in Kenya.
50Kfor50k – Online – March 30, 2010 – April 20, 2010
Maya Paveza, @mayaREguru was approaching her 50,000th Tweet. Maya described this as momentous and perhaps a little pathetic. Regardless, she has decided to turn it into an event and have some fun at the same time. Over $20,000 was collected and all the money was used to move the girls and get them set up in the new home for the first three months!

Social Media At The Beach – Virginia Beach, VA - Jan 2010
SMATB chose MFFO as it charity to support for their January 2010 Social Media conference. They raised $493 in their effort and we thank them for their support.
The Gift of Education 2010 – REBarcamp San Diego – San Diego, CA – Nov 2009
REBCSD chose Mothers Fighting For Others as its charity to support for their November 2009 Social Media conference. In doing so, they raised over $4000 for the Gift of Education Program. We are so very grateful to the real estate community for coming together on this amazing day to support us!
The Gift of Education Fundraiser 2010 – Darnestown, MD - Nov 2009
Audrey and Mike Forshey opened their hearts and home to Mothers Fighting For Others to raise High School fees for the girls at Saint Monica’s. They raised more than $14,000 in one night and were able to send nine girls to Boarding High School for an entire year! Thank you Audrey, Mike and all of your family and friends for a truly inspiring event!
The Gift of Education Fundraiser 2009 – #10for10 – Online Fundraiser – Dec 2008
We had a goal to put 10 girls into high school for the 2009 school year and we raised over $9000 with a social media event we named, #10For10. It was designed to be a one day Twitter event, but it lasted a week! We received donations from $5 to $500 and with the amazing generosity of our online friends and family, we raised $9000 online and were able to support 10 girls’ High School educations for a year!
The Gift of Education 2008 – First Annual Fundraiser - Nov 2007
This was our first fundraiser. It was hosted in Los Angeles by family members to help support the girls at Saint Monica’s. Family and friends came together for a one night event and continued to donate for weeks to come, raising over $4000!
