hi, I had a domestic violence case last week and my husband had restraining order, I want to remove it because I don’t have transportation for my kids to day care and I think we can solve our problems talking. I want to know how long the restraining order is gonna take and what can I do when we go to court because I don’t want this case to proceed.

    Nayely,

I am not a lawyer, and have no experience in this field. My suggestion though, is for you to go to the Police Station where you filed the order and ask the authorities. They will have the answers you are looking for.

Good luck and I hope this helps.
